League Cycling Instructor Training

League of American Bicyclists' League Cycling Instructor (LCI) Seminar
July 8 - 10, 2009 Fryeburg Academy, Fryeburg, Maine
Wednesday, July 8, 1 to 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 9, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday, July 10, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This seminar will train you for the highest level of on-road bicycle safety certification available. Those who successfully complete the LCI course are certified to teach the League's Smart Cycling classes to children and adults.

Requirements include a bicycle in good, working order, a water bottle, a well-fitting helmet and successful completion of the Traffic Skills 101 course. Recommended for adults and children above 14 accompanied by a parent.

Cost at this time is $200 but the price may increase in the spring, so early registration is advised. To sign up, please go to http://www.bikeleague.org, under "Program," then "Bike Education." Only the first 12 qualified cyclists signed up and paid will be accepted.

This seminar is offered, on average, only every five years in northern New England. Don't lose out on the opportunity!
