More than 300 bikes of all types were sold at the Great Maine Bike Swap in Portland on April 27. A record-breaking crowd of more than 1,400 people attended the swap.
Just in time for spring, the Great Maine Bike Swap will come to the University of Maine in Orono on May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a great chance to buy and sell used bicycles and gear. The swap also features exhibits, entertainment and refreshments. Find out more...

Two visiting Texas bicyclists, Jim Wilson and Kyle Carr, check directions in China, Maine. Wilson, of the LMRA Bicycle Club in North Texas, takes a bike trip each summer while visiting his father in Albion. In recent years, Wilson has brought other Texans with him to experience the joys of biking Down East.
