The Lobster Ride is a one-day, fundraising, friendraising ride along Maine's beautiful rockbound coast.
How many miles is the Lobster Ride?
The Lobster Ride is actually 4 different rides--something for everyone.
16, 30, 50, or 100 miles
Can I buy a ticket for the Lobster Lunch even if I don't ride?
Yes, a ticket is $10.
How do I find local accommodations?

What if I'm allergic to, or don't like, lobster? What can I eat?
We will have hot dogs on the grill, veggie rolls, and tuna rolls.
What do volunteers do?
Various jobs for any shift you want: parking in a.m., registration, greeting, rest stop staffing, hot dog grilling, welcoming committee as riders return (noisemakers provided), support vehicle driving, clean-up crew. What level of riders will enjoy this ride?
Smell the Roses Riders will enjoy the 16-mile ride. If you regularly ride 15 or 20 miles per ride, the 30-mile ride will be a beautiful challenge. The 50-mile ride (at 15 mph) takes 3-5 hours to complete, including rest stops and lighthouse visiting. The Century riders (100 miles) ride fast.

We are traveling. We have dogs. Where can I keep them while riding in the Lobster Ride?
There are serveral boarding kennels in the area. Please do not leave animals in your vehicle.

There is room at the McDougal school, approximately 1 mile from the high school on Broadway, for several RVs. Contact Maggie Warren at 207-622-3973 or maggie_warren@verizon.net in advance so we can be expecting you.
What's the best way to get to the Lobster Ride?
Ride your bike, take the train from Brunswick, carpool. If you're coming alone, please let us know and we'll hook you up with a fellow rider.
