Maine Time Trial Series This year's Peak Performance Maine Time Trial Series presented by Aegis Racing Bikes will feature 12 races from Presque Isle to Mount Agamenticus and Fryeburg to Bar Harbor. A new race in Freeport that is part of L.L. Bean’s Bike Expo weekend will kick off the series on May 4. Time trials are user-friendly races where participants start out 30 seconds apart with no drafting allowed. It's each bicyclist racing the clock. Aegis Bicycles has donated two frames to be awarded to a woman and a man - but not necessarily the fastest racers. A new method of choosing the winners that factors in participation as well as performance will add excitement to the drawing.
