Description: Scenic Coastal Island

User Comments or Corrections: Old Quarry Ocean Adventures offers a twice-daily trip to Isle au Haut catering to bikers who want a day-long hike and bike around the island. Capt. Bill Baker warns that Isle au Haut is not an easy bike trip. "Very few can peddle the entire trip without a rest and most have to push their bikes as there are several very long gradual rocky, bumpy sections. Mountain bikes are strongly suggested." Old Quarry Ocean Adventures also has an ocean front campground for bikers who want to camp out the night before their excursion to Isle au Haut.
