Description: Gorgeous views overlook the tidal Kennebec River. The Kennebec River Rail Trail is actually a rail with trail. The trail is separated by 15 feet or more in addition to a grade difference. The trail pays tribute to the historical rail corridor with granite quarter-mile markers that imitate at a smaller scale, the railroad's granite mile markers.
