WOMEN'S RIDE A GROWING SUCCESS
THANK YOU to those who participated in the 7th annual Women's Ride for Heart Health held Sunday, June 1st at LL Bean's Casco Conference Center in Freeport. Close to 400 women participated in the warm, sunny morning, choosing from 5, 10 or 25 mile loops. Upon return, many took advantage of the free mini massage or yoga classes. Others took part in the free medical screenings by Parkview Adventist Medical Center, a major diamond sponsor of this year's event. A special thanks to Freeport Comfort Suites, the Parkview Adventist Medical Center and Vermont Bicycle Tours as top level diamond sponsors. Our thanks also goes to Maine Women's Fund, Wing Benjamin Trust, New England WomenCenter for sponsoring, as well as in-kind contributions from Adventure Bound, LL Bean, Maureen Townsend Physical Therapy, Jade Trade East West Clinic, Terry Bicycle, and Turning Light Yoga.
