Pedestrian deaths spiked last year in Maine and continue to occur at an alarming rate. In response, the state has kicked off a safety campaign to educate drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians about how to prevent these fatal accidents. We’ll learn about the key messages of the campaign, and how municipalities can also try to make changes wherever there are dangerous pathways and intersections.
