Two people, including the New Jersey driver, were taken to Maine Medical Center for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Two people are recovering Tuesday after a New Jersey woman struck a cyclist and a truck on Route 1 in Scarborough.
At around 10:40 a.m., Scarborough and Old Orchard Beach responders received a report of a multiple-vehicle crash by the Clambake Restaurant, according to a news release from Scarborough police.
Carol Rocchini, 63, of New Jersey apparently hit a cyclist on Pine Point Road. Police identified the cyclist as Nancy Thiele, 66, of Nevada.
Rocchini continued onto East Grand Avenue toward Old Orchard Beach when she hit a pickup truck driven by Louis Baker, 63, of Vermont, according to police.
Rocchini’s car stopped after hitting a wooden fence next to the road.
She and Thiele were taken to Maine Medical Center for injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police said Baker and his passenger were checked at the scene and released.
Route 1 was closed to one lane for about an hour.
The investigation is ongoing.
