BCM E-bike Demo at Portland Earth Day

Join us after for the City’s free, family-friendly Earth Day Celebration in Payson Park from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM! City departments are teaming up with local green organizations to host a festival of fun: music, food trucks, e-bike demos, clothing swap, face painting, outdoor activities, and more. We encourage you to bring clothes to exchange/donate at the clothing swap. Please email sustainabilityoffice@portlandmaine.gov with any questions.

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine (BCM) is excited about the growing the use of e-bikes for transportation and recreation. E-bikes can replace cars for many trips and they drive increased investment in active transportation infrastructure. They are also enormously fun!
Come join us at Portland Earth Day and see why we’re excited about e-bikes as a fun, eco-friendly form of active transportation! We’ll show you how to use them, review safety instructions and send you off to feel the power for yourself. For anyone 18+ or 16+ with a parent or guardian. This a great chance to give one a spin!
