Mountain Bike Excursion: Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument

Join NRCM Rising for an epic FREE weekend of mountain biking to help celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument!
The NRCM has reserved two group campsites at Shin Pond Village just outside the Monument to use as basecamp. After an incredible day of riding on Saturday, August 21, riders will join the KWW anniversary celebration right at Shin Pond Village sponsored by Maine Beer Company! On Sunday, you’ll check out the new Penobscot River trails just down the road before heading home.
