Webinar: Working With Law Enforcement

September 16, 2015 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

Free

On this month’s call we’ll hear from several police officers from across the state about their approach to various aspects of bicycle and pedestrian safety, with an eye towards replicating those programs in your community. How can Maine’s police departments better enforce the 3-foot passing law? What are innovative, positive ways for officers to interact with and educate young bicyclists? What’s going on in the mind of a police officer who is responding to a vehicle crash that involves a bicyclist or pedestrian?

Featured Speakers:

  • Sagadahoc Sheriff Joel Merry – Sagadahoc County Sherriff’s Office
  • Lieutenant Frank Clark – South Portland Police Department
  • Deputy Chief David Grover – Scarborough Police Department
  • Chief Stephen Peasley – North Berwick Police Department
