CBBC White Mountain Notch Rides: Pinkham/Evans Notches – August 26, 2017

All notch rides start at 8 a.m. on the last Saturday of the month, with Sunday as a rain date. They’re great for training, or just if you love beautiful scenery and a bit of a challenge. If you’d like to carpool, be at the Mountain Division Park in Standish at 6:30 a.m. (Mountain Division parking is next to the ballfield on this map, on Rt. 35, not far from Rt. 114) FMI, contact Joanne Rawlings-Sekunda at joanners@myottmail.com.
Pinkham/Evans Notches: 82 miles. Start: Fryeburg swimming hole (Saco River), Rt. 113. Go past the Irving station on the main drag in Fryeburg, take 113 when it goes right (there’ll be a sign for Westin Farmstand), then the park will be on the right side after you cross the Saco River. Lunch: During the ride (in 2011, at Moonbeam Café in Gorham, NH)
