Do you have a passion for bikes and education? Do you want to help Mainers become safer riders and promote a culture of responsible cycling? Then consider becoming a Bicycle Coalition of Maine Instructor!
Education is one of the core elements of the BCM’s mission, teaching Mainers how to be safe and skillful cyclists. Our instructors work statewide to deliver safety presentations to local schools, lead bike rodeos for community groups, and share bike maintenance skills for small classes. They also lead rides, mountain bike classes at local trails, or teach newer riders how to safely navigate traffic. This program is open to anyone who is interested in teaching, has a passion for cycling, and is committed to safety for all road users.
