Clifford Park Sign and Gate Dedication, Trail Ride

All are invited to the Clifford Park sign and gate dedication on Saturday, April 23rd at 11:00AM (rain date Sunday, April 24th at 11:00AM), put on by the Friends of Clifford Park trail association (Facebook Page). We will meet at the granite pillar entrance on Pool Street in Biddeford. Mayor Alan Casavant will dedicate a new wrought iron gate and sign that incorporates the historic Clifford Family name. This new addition to the park replaces the arched sign that once stood between the granite pillars. Refreshments and snacks, as well as guided hikes and mountain biking in the park will follow the dedication and ribbon cutting.

This is a great community event that will unite Biddeford residents with the city’s history and natural outdoor beauty located in the center of Biddeford’s urban core. We are trying to promote positive recreation in the park, and bring together the mountain biking community that currently uses the park. We hope to see you there!
