April 7 @ 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm
The electric cargo bike is rapidly on the rise globally. Come learn about the fascinating history of cargo bikes starting with amazing models dating back to the 1880’s. Along the way we’ll explore the latest innovative designs and e-assist technologies enabling parents to move their kids and loads around like never before (and as if climate change & our communities really mattered) as well as a range of exciting commercial applications transforming delivery options in cities and towns. We’ll also consider why this is so much more than just a technological revolution, but an opportunity for us to deeply and authentically return to a more responsible and embodied relationship to this world we all inhabit.
