BIKE SAFETY RODEO, RUN BY THE BICYCLE COALITION OF MAINE
Designed to teach and encourage kids from age 4-11 to ride bikes safely, the
rodeo includes a helmet check, a bike mechanical check, and the chance to ride in
a closed traffic skills course that teaches the rules of the road.
“BE YOURSELF!” BIKE PARADE
Bring your littlest riders to decorate their bikes for a colorful parade.
FIX-A-BIKE WORKSHOPS
Try your hand at tool identification, watch a repair in action, learn to fix a slipped
chain, tighten your brakes, and more.
COMMUNITY SAFETY
Meet our local Bike/Ped Committee and hear about current initiatives.
Learn about safe riding resources for children with special needs.
High five a friendly YPD officer.
