The Bicycle Coalition of Maine stays busy with events all year round to connect with as many pedestrians and people on bikes as possible in a variety of ways. We seek to educate adults and children about bike/ped safety through presentations and courses, host interactive demonstrations that advocate for improvements to bike/ped infrastructure, provide valet bike parking at local events, and organize gatherings and group rides to raise awareness and enthusiasm about our mission.

Club Rides
KVBC Route 8 Figure 8
A scenic tour over lakeside back roads through Smithfield, Belgrade, Rome, and Mercer. Meet at the Smithfield Town Office on Rt.8 in Smithfield.
KVBC A (Wire) Bridge To
Join us for a scenic fall ride from Norridgewock to the historic Wire Bridge over the Carrabassett River in New Portland. Meet at 434 Fredericks Corner Road, about two miles from the junction with Rt.2 in Norridgewock.
KVBC Ups and Downs of Industry
A ride through the picturesque hills and hollows of Farmington, New Sharon, and Industry, featuring back roads along the Sandy River, spectacular ridgetop views, and Clearwater Pond at Allens Mills. Meet at Hannaford Supermarket in Farmington on Rt. 4.
KVBC Wicked Wayne
Join the Kennebec Valley Bicycle Club for a special Halloween ride past several historic cemeteries and the locale of an unsolved murder mystery. Meet at the Wayne Elementary School on Pond Road in Wayne.
