Summer Ride Series

Our Summer Ride series, centering FTWN-B—femme, transgender, women, and non-binary riders will return for our 3rd season in 2023! Check back here or subscribe to our newsletters to get the most up to date information about the series.

To give you an idea of what we’ll be offering this summer, here is information about our 2022 series:

Every other Wednesday, we will be a leading a series of free, laid-back group rides. Centering all FTWN-B—femme, transgender, women, and non-binary riders —these 6-14 mile rides are laid back, featuring some of the most rideable road and trail routes in the surrounding Portland area.

What do our group rides entail? The group will always stick together, and have a leader and a sweep. These are not club rides! They are designed for women+ new-ish to group rides, or those who just like to take in the sights while biking. Expect light to rolling hills only, and travel at about 10 mph. Each ride will take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.

Bikes and helmets are required, and please wear closed-toed shoes. With the days getting shorter, you’ll also need front and rear lights on your bike, and we encourage you to dress “bright & tight.”

Registration is free but space is limited! Click a ride to find out more information about the route and to sign up.

All rides leave at 5:30 p.m. from the designated location below. Please arrive no later than 5:15. In case of inclement weather, most rides will change to an indoor fix-a-flat workshop held at the BCM office.
