Great ready to Swap!

Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 14th, 2019 to sell or buy a quality used bike at the University of Southern Maine in Portland. Event takes place from 10:00 am—1:00 pm at the USM Sullivan Complex, located at 66 Falmouth Street in Portland, Maine.

Choose from hundreds of bikes in all price ranges and of all types including road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids and children’s bikes! You can also sell or donate the unused bikes you have around the house and garage. Area bike shops will be on site selling bike parts, accessories, helmets and more!

To Sell A Bike

Bike Seller Registration 

Drop off bikes on Saturday, April 13th in the evening between 3-6 p.m. Costs include a $5 (cash only) registration fee per bike and if sold a 15% commission to the Bicycle Coalition of Maine. Pick up unsold bikes between 1:45 and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14th, the day of the Swap or it will be donated!

To Buy A Bike

Doors are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is $5 (cash only), free for USM students, children under 12 and bike sellers.

Please note: Due to the popularity of the Swap, the first 250 people in line will be admitted entrance at 10am. We will then stagger the entrance based on capacity.
