Urban Riding Class: Biking Bangor with Confidence (Morning)

Brush up your riding and bike safety skills as we take in Bangor’s cultural and historic landmarks. Kierie Piccininni, BCM board member and licensed cycling instructor, will cover the ABC quick check, helmet fit, and road rules. The group will stay together and will move at a casual pace. There will be ample time for breaks and to answer any questions.

All riding abilities and ages 16+ are welcome. If you are interested in riding with kids, please get in touch and we’ll arrange a separate ride the following week. Your bike must be operational, though chain lube and a tire pump will be available. Helmets are mandatory for all, along with a red rear reflector and front light. Don’t have a helmet or lights? We have a free helmet and light lending program!

Note: TWO class times are available, both on May 18. This is for the morning class.

Date/times: Tuesday, May 18, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Meeting location: Broadway Park, near the big rock at the corner of S. Park Street and French Street.
