Join the BCM for a family-friendly community bicycle ride! We’ll review basic equipment checks and learn the ropes of safe bicycle driving, all while exploring local Orono roads & trails. Participants should be capable of riding a gentle four-mile loop that includes some unpaved trail surfaces. Little kid bicycle seats and tag-a-longs are welcome! Be prepared to stop at the remnants of a homestead, navigate neighborhood streets, visit the Bullet Boulder, and pass through the University of Maine campus. Please bring a helmet, water, and a face covering. We hope to see you there! Note: All minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
