Ride route: Eastern Trail in Scarborough. (10.5 mi). This ride is an out and back on the Eastern Trail, starting in Scarborough. A mostly flat gravel trail, with some paved sections, passes through marsh and woods–nearly guaranteed to see heron, cormorants, egrets and more! Bikes with a thicker tire are recommended–you can do it on a road bike, it just will be a bit bumpy and rough at times.
Meet at: Eastern Trail parking lot on Eastern Road in Scarborough (off of Black Point Rd.). Please arrive no later than 5:15, as the ride leaves promptly at 5:30 p.m. after check-in and a safety chat.
