Bike Rodeo – South Portland

In collaboration with The Bicycle Coalition of Maine, South Portland Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront is hosting a free bike rodeo in the parking lot of the South Portland Community Center. This free event will teach kids the rules of the road through a closed traffic skills course, filled with stop signs and traffic cones.
So please, come out Saturday and learn about bike safety as a means of transportation on the roads. It is especially encouraged that participants of the South Portland Youth Triathlon attend. The South Portland Youth Triathlon will be held the following week on June 25th.
Prior to the rodeo, participants will have their bikes checked to ensure they are safe for the course.
*As a bonus, participants who get their bikes checked at the rodeo will not have to get them rechecked for the triathlon held the following week!
