Legislative Forum: Community Connectivity, Livability, and Economic Vitality

February 26, 2021 @ 12:00 pm 12:45 pm

This event is intended for policymakers but we would like to extend the invitation to bike/ped and trail advocates across the state to join us for this Zoom forum on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. ET

We will discuss what makes a community livable and how sidewalks, bikeways, and trails lie at the intersection of Maine’s economy, public health, and quality of life. Register now to join the conversation with guest speakers:

Dr. Rebecca Boulos – executive director, Maine Public Health Association
Lori Parham – Maine state director, AARP
Nate Rudy – town manager, Town of Gray
Jim Tassé – assistant director, BCM (moderator)

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine aims to keep policymakers and our supporters informed and engaged with bills that impact walkability, bike-ability, and access for vulnerable users. We hope you will join us in our effort to make Maine a better place to walk, roll, and live!

We ask that you please register in advance for this meeting:
