Mountain Biking 101

Join the Bicycle Coalition of Maine for a set (2 sessions) of Mountain Biking skill clinics. Learn how to gain control in any situation to build confidence, increase safety, and have more fun on your bike! Students must provide their own helmet and mountain bike and should be comfortable riding on gravel or dirt paths already. Bicycle Mechanics 101:Caring for Your Radical Bicycle via ZOOM

These classes (2 sessions) will be taught remotely using Zoom and will be a virtual “hands-on” class! With your bicycle and any mini/ pocket tools you might have handy, we’ll discuss the ABC Quick Check, the types and operation of tools and materials for roadside repair, and post-ride/off-season bicycle maintenance.
